Groom Saddle & Ride – Online

Demonstrating the correct way to halter a horse

How to groom your horse, tack him up, ride him… and fix bad behavior problems.

Plus… How to become a confident rider and overcome fear of horses or fear when riding. Even at high speeds.

Have you ever wanted to know how to handle horses like a pro?

To be with them, understand them and deal with them like somebody who really knows what he’s doing?

In this series, I go through all the steps of getting your horse haltered, brushed, feet picked, saddled, bridled, booted up and ready to ride.

I then demonstrate how to actually ride the horse… how to use the reins… how to use your legs etc.

I also cover, the “ROOT CAUSE” of bad behavior problems and how to deal with them.

Problems like biting, kicking, balking, rearing and bucking.

IMPORTANT:
In this course, I’ve included a video in which I demonstrate EXACTLY HOW to deal with bad behavior problems.

You’ll see a horse attempt to buck me off. You’ll see him run off, balk, rear up and try to rub me off on the fence.

You’ll see a training technique that works great and is EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE to fix all these problems.

This training technique also works great on horses that refuse to cross water, are gate sour, barn sour, buddy sour and many more common problems.

Add this knowledge to your horsemanship toolbox and there won’t be many behavior problems you can’t fix.

In this video series, you’ll learn a ton of stuff related to good horsemanship.

Things like… how to teach your horse to willingly pick up its feet… how to to teach your horse to open his mouth for the bit… spur placement on the rider’s boot and rowel selection to match the horse.

Teaching the horse to willingly pick up his feet for cleaning

I then get on and demonstrate correct stirrup length, body posture, how to hold the reins and ride the horse.

You’ll see how an experienced horseman executes these basic yet extremely important procedures.

NOTE:
Most professional traines can accurately pin-point your level of horsemanship simply by watching you groom and tack your horse up.

The reason they can is because there is a “certain way”… a “horseman’s way” of doing things that few non pros know or understand.

Do not underestimate the importance of this. There are specific reasons for doing things the “horseman’s way”.

The main reason being… your horse’s well-being and good performance. As well as enhancing your skill level and insuring your safety.

Demonstration of the correct way to saddle a horse so as not to cause problems

I consider this course a “must” for novice riders and it’s a good course for the more experienced ones too.

There are folks who’ve had horses for 20 years yet don’t know the “horseman’s way” of doing things. This course could really help them.

Do you have a fear of horses or fear when riding?

If so, you will love the section about overcoming fear of horses and fear when riding in a scary situation.

Scary situations like riding a reined cow horse running full-out to catch a cow. Or scary situations like riding a spooky horse out on the trail.

This course offers solid solutions to help you establish control and gain confidence.

Does your horse have bad or dangerous behavior problems?

Problems like:
Kicking.
Biting.
Disrespectful.
Bucking.
Balking.
Rearing.
Running off.
Gate sour.
Buddy sour.
Habitual spooking.
Won’t cross water.
Refuses to go where you want.

In this course, I explain the ROOT CAUSE of why horses misbehave. I also demonstrate how to go about correcting it.

So, if your horse has behavior problems, you’ll learn how to solve those problems here.

    Larry.
Thankfully I have none of the problems with my three horses that you have identified but will be buying the course anyway. I have read a lot of what you have written and watched YouTube clips etc. and appreciate your no-nonsense approach. It is always good to see how other horsemen approach any problem and pick up some new techniques.

I completely agree that over 90% (I would go higher!) of horse problems are people problems and that most of it is disrespect from the horse because the rider is not noticing the little signs that they are not taking the rider seriously. To date I have not had a problem horse and find that breaking down new things into small steps and accepting very small improvements consistantly gets them exactly where I want them.

I am looking forward to watching, and keep them coming.
    Regards
    Ralph

    Hello Larry,
Just want to thank you for the information you share with your letters. You remind me a lot of my father and the way you handle and train horses. He is gone now, but when I read your letters it seems as if my dad where there speaking. I am interested in your Groom, Saddle and Ride course. I , like many others, dont have a good enough internet connection for the online course. I just thought I would throw my hat into the circle to let you know that I would love to see this course on DVD. I understand the reasons why you arent providing this at this time. If it does become available and it would be profitable for you please let me know. I enjoy the other courses that I have purchase from you. Keep up the good work and stay in the saddle!

HI, I bought a horse that was well trained, now i don’t know if it was my fault or just what horses do, but he has tried bucking me off bareback, and he rolled on me on the trail in the winter, with the saddle on! And then he rolled in the riding ring with another girl i had try to ride him, is this being spoiled? Help, now i am scared to ride him. And he spooks alot at stupid little things, hates deer!

Is there a dvd or video of this course, since my internet access hardly plays anything cause I live where high speed is not available yet? I would buy a video?
    Please let me know.

    • Larry Trocha says:

      Hi Kathy,

Maybe one day it’ll be on DVD but I seriously doubt it.

I hesitate to put this info on a DVD for the exact same reasons that I explained in my email.

However, if that day does come, I’ll send out an email announcing it.

Plus, everyone who purchased an “online membership” will be given a big discount on the DVD.

      Take care,

      Larry T.

My hat is off to you, Paige.

Take care and enjoy the course.
